CLASS UFFICERS PRESIDENT Nancy Hanson VICE PRESIDENT Jay Aschenbrenner SECRETARY Joan Pleper TREASURER W1lbert Stueck MOTTO Our A1m Success Our Hope to W1n COLORS French Blue and Sllver FLOWER Amerlcan Beauty Rose CLASS IH TORY On a brlght mornmg 1n 1939 we boarded a tram for a long r1de Our con ductor Mrs Re1mers asslsted Jay Aschenbrenner B111 Kullmer Wmlbert Stueck Darlys Fawley Dona Mae Skxles K Larnes and others on the fxrst lap of our journey Mlss Brown was our conductor on the Znd lap and we made a few stops on the way As we cont1nued on our way w1th Mrss Harden we stopped to p1ck up Dale Santrnan M1ss Klovstad was our next conductor and we enjoyed put tmg on an operetta We cont1nued our journey and were now well on our way Our new con ductor Mlss Holtz welcomed four new passengers They lncluded a set of twxns Jean and .Ioan P1eper B1ll1e Lou Drcken and Beth Hoeppner M1ss Hoff was our next conductor and we welcomed Dor1s Wagaman aboard our tra1n Next we entered .Tumor Hlgh and had many dlfferent conductors Our mam conductor was Mrs Maley Here we were jo1ned by Butch Randall and V1v1an M1ller We were now seexng and learnmg many new th1ngs and most of us enjoyed lt Then the great day came when we graduated from our younger ways and boarded a new and more lnterestmg tra1n along w1th two new passengers Shlrley Wlese and Nancy Hanson Here we got to know the englneer Mr Maley and our conductor for the next four years M155 Decker After only a few weeks of school we were 1n1t1ated 1nto the crowd Now that we were off1c1a1ly passengers of th1s great tra1n we enjoyed many experxences of our hlgh school days When the end of the flrst year came the class enjoyed a p1cn1c 1n Clark's Park Several of the passengers were lost but were soon found 1n t1rne to f1n1sh the frrst lap of the journey and start on the second When our tram was 1eav1ng we agaln gamed two more passengers They were Robert Peters and Judy Raymond Durmg th1s next year we had the pr1v1lege of 1n1t1at1ng the people who took over our recently vacated car We spent the rest of th1s lap workmg hard for lt took more work to enjoy the tr1p CORNFIELD AUTO COMPANY Dysart Iowa --ll ' ' ll ! . - D ' 7 I D D D I ' . . - . . - P 1 ' . . . l . , . ! CLASS PRUPHECY DATE December 18 1972 PLACE Catalma Resort Catalma Island I am Jay Aschenbrenner edltor of the New York T1mes w11t1ng' on all the famous people here at Catal1na Resort The f1rst that I of course ran across and could not m1ss IS Darlys Fawley who 1S tak1ng over Louella Parson s Job ln Hollywood Th1S tlme she has not come to fmd out about the latest love affa1rs but to follow a famous mllhonau-e Thls mxlhonamre W1lbert Stueck atta1ned h1s t1t1e by dxcover lng uramum on h1S farm Mr Stueck IS reported to be v1s1t1ng h1s l1fe long frlend Mr W1ll1am Kullmer who was voted the most E11g1ble Bachelor of 1972 w1th h1s mult1m1111ons Not only do they have famous people here but bath1ng su1ts too The most economlcal and latest style bathlng su1t 15 the Modolena whlch was deslgned and modeled by M1ss Judy Raymond M1ss Raymond has had an offer of several thousand dollars to deslgn another one for M1ss Shlrley W1ese MISS W1ese the top woman wrestler 15 reported to have the strongest muscles of any woman M1ss W1ese got several thousand dollars when she won her t1tle over Beetle Bomb I see M1ss Nancy Hanson has just landed on the axr f1eld 1n her flymg ever made by human bemgs It has been rumored that Rudolph Valentmo the former Harry Klng Lames has ordered a room on M1ss Hanson s flylng saucer H15 lnterest seems to have changed from plcture maklng to Mars Prof and M1ss Gregory Hoggenburgger are vacat1on1ng here by themselves hav1ng left at home thelr fam1ly of several sets of twlns Mrs I-loggenburgger the former Joan Pleper IS a graduate of the UH1V6TS1ty of Iowa Her husband graduated from Iowa State College and 15 now at Cambr1dge Her tw1n s1ster Jean Russell 15 also vacat1on1ng here after f1n1sh1ng the mov1e The Rustlers and the Redhead' For her actlng 1n th1s movle she IS expected to be the academy ward wlnner of 1972 These guests are all belng entertalned 1n the evenlngs by such people as Dale Santman better known as Groucho Marx and M1ss V1r Jean Gonnerman whose stage name IS M1ss De Lancy De Carlo the famous contralto M1ss De Laney De Carlo sang several select1ons from the opera Carmen' and Groucho Marx 1t IS sald brought the house down wlth h1s famous Jokes Frlday nxght we w1ll be enertalned by the famous Chalmer Randall James the trumpeter who wlll play h1s latest record1ng The Angels are Comlng The1r Wmgs Are Ln Slght ' TAMA BENTON CO OPERATIVE COMPANY Dysart Iowa 10 . . , . . . . saucer, She has set the record of flying to Mars and back in the shortest tlme . . , ' ' ' ' ll ll I ' ' ' , ll .I
