Boys' Glee Club 'go We are especially proud of our Boys' Glee Club this year as they have made an unusually fine record. The club started work in the fall with the return of many experienced members and also with the addition of several new ones who were able to pass the dilheult try-outs. The boys appeared in the oper- etta and at the annual Father and Son banquet. Later in competition with clubs of the county at the County Contest held at Tama our boys proved to be the best, bringing home the cup. At the sub-district contest held at To- ledo, they also won first without competition. They proved their ability above all others at the district Contest entitling them to enter the State con- test at Iowa City, May 5. Page 41 4
