EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABLQUT IT! And in the news tonight. Dysart's Demonaire newspaper staff's goal was to publish a paper each month. Mrs. Julia Duff was the advisor and Norma Torres, who Cfrom unknown source-sb has been seen clicking her camera around campus, was the photo editor. Other staffers include Angie Garcia and Kassie La- Fleur, co-editors, Ray Balderas, artistg Diane Amaya, Charlie Clemmer, Tina Freels, Mario Montoya, Tricia Ortega, Buffe Payne, Norma Salas, and Frank Valdez. The Staff visited and toured the Pueblo Publishing Co. who publish the Demonaire. Also in the news. the Photo Club had a winning year. Four students from Dysart took awards for photo entries in the Arizona State Fair. They competed against five schools and a total of l66 entries. Those studlents were Norma Torres, who placed 2nd in the blackfwhite animal category, Alice Gon- zales placed 3rd in the blackfwhite sports category, and Vickey Ricketts and Jaime Salazar received honorable men- tions in blackfwhite portraits., This year's officers were Angie Garcia, President: Diane Amaya, Vice President! Diane Calzada, Secretary, and Norma Salas, Treasurer. All in all, it has been fun focusing on a great year at Dysart High School.
