It is the students' paper, and the editors publish any gossip, complaints or editorials of interest along with supplying an accurate calendar of events on the Dyke campus and the Cleveland area. The Mouth Peace also boasts a record review on a variety of albums which is published every few weeks by an anonymous critic. X 1 it Dyke's Collegiate Program in Retail Merchandising has come a long way since its beginning almost four years ago. Students who are enrolled in the program supplement their daily courses with work experience in the city's leading department stores. Also included in this work-study program is an annual trip to New York City where students attend the National Retail Merchants Association INRMAJ Convention held at the New York Hilton. With the initiator ofthe program, Professor Paller, the retailers tour exhibits, attend lectures, and visit the exciting boutique shops and large department stores that line the city streets. Students were assigned to a store buyer and accompanied him as he visited his particular resources and purchased portions of his spring stock. This allowed the retail students the opportunity to see exactly what is involved in the so-called glamorous job of a buyer. Making the trip this year were: seniors George Zettlemeyer Iirn Orr Betty Trapp freshmen Denise Hammond Sue Snyder Marge Rachuba Steve Bernstein . . . . . . and marketing major Larry Somrack.
