SALUTE TO THE VOLUNTEERS The volunteers that work each day in the Community Class Program are some of the most dedicated women in Hamilton County. If you visit Dyer School you will see them working at varied tasks. This school year the volunteers have assisted in the classrooms, in the reading program, served as Girl Scout leaders and made favors for the luncheon for the school superintendents. Before Christmas, treasures and trinkets made by volunteers and some of the childreanez'e sold in a boutique. The profits mill be used to provide scholarships for teachers for graduate courses. All year Zong some of the mother's serve as bathroom angels . We hope we haven't missed any of the many ways the volunteers serve, our apologies if we have. We salute all the volunteers and want them to know they are apprecia ted . Bless you all, you are the greatest!

BASKETBALL The basketball team continued its winning ways during the 1974-75 season and finished with an 8'5 record. Highlights of the season included 2 wins each over chief rivals, Fair Acres Center and Northview. One of the victories over Northview was in a regional play-off and earned the team a berth in the state tournament in Youngstown, Ohio. The trip was enjoyable: but Dyer did lose in the first round to the eventual state champions, Fairhaven School. Scoring honors were divided between Vincent Bolling with a 12.8 average lhigh games of 26 and 22 pointsl and Norris Seldon with a 12.5 average thigh games of 21 and 35 points - a new school record.y Norris is one of five graduating seniors including Ron Moore, Stan Kitts. Marco Huber and Tony Oliphent. All of these players have contributed greatly over the last three years and will be greatly missed next year. t Other team members included Terry Brown, Tony Alexander, Alphonso Wellhorn, Ken Johnson, Benny Anthony, Ray Chambers! Rusty Kerr and Bruce Meyers. All except the latter two will be back next year and hopefully, will match the fine effort put forth by our seniors. Bill Hoffman, Supervisor Physical Education Department
