Half Century of Progress From 1908 to 1958 - - - fifty years of progress, fifty years of growth. The first four-year high school had nine students and one teacher: to- day s school has 62 J students and 31 teachers The four room school that housed the first graduating class was built in 1898 and is shown on the opposite page In 1916 three rooms were added at the rear and as the school population increased an ad Joining gymnasium science room and study hall were built in 1928 A grade school building was placed in front of the original structure in 1939 and before long that too was over flowing wwf' T333- TQ'-.D S I Mt .Mx -is ' mwhw l 1 Q1 , If '01 Cf: 3 1 W Ji J 1111211111 The industrial arts building, extending to the right of the first four rooms, was occupied in 1956 and the building program reached its crescendo last fall when the high school mox ed into the unbelievably beautiful building, with its spacious rooms and up to the minute equip ment The gratitude and appreciation of the student bodv are so great and the opportunities for expressing them so few that the seniors wish this book to stand as a tribute to the people in this community who have made possible these fifty years of progress .P .J 4-Q amen Q...
