Judith Heitzman QEnglishj Faith Heneghan CSciencej Mr. Edwin Greene has been teaching in Duxbury longer than any other faculty member, and his contributions have been numerous. Mr. Greene built the funnel for the prom, prints Drama tickets, programs, progress reports, prom posters, and newsletters. He repairs hockey sticks, furniture, and all the other little things that someone has to do. Mr. Greene is that someone who is constantly, on his own time, doing things for the students and faculty. When asked to build the playhouse for the daycare center this year, he was more than willing to do it, because he knew the children would love to have it. On top of all his extra contributions such as these, he even finds time to watch some Duxbury High School sports. What impresses students the most about Mr. Greene is that with all he does for the school, he never asks for anything in return, and he receives little or no recognition at all. ln many aspects, he is like the unsung hero of DHS. He is always there in a crisis when something needs to be made or fixed. He has been a teacher at DHS now for 28 years, and the list of his contributions and accomplishments are incredible. He is an important part of our school and he is appreciated.
