To us the sea is indicative of our years at Duxbury High School. Through storms and calms we have developed the outlook and gained the experience necessary to enable us to sail forth from the harbor. Thus, in PARTRIDGE 1957 we have attempt- ed to capture the essence ofthe sea Z m eclica Hon NFS Shemrcrcral Lefty and the dented Ford. . . the newspaper and the yearbook. . . field trips and Shakespeare. . .late homework and your resultant lec- tures. . .your bubbling good humor and your friendship. . .these and many more are our memories of you. To you, Mrs. Sherwood, who kept your steadying hand on the til- ler during our enjoyable, eventful, but erratic voyage through high school, we gratefully dedicate the 1957 PARTRIDGE. Out of these Monday morning meetings have come such achievements as taking Christmas to Lakeville Sanitarium in the form of a truckload of toys, sponsoring a concert by the University of Massachusetts Concert Band, and a gymnastic demonstra- tion by Wellesley High School, building and placing benches at the Frog Pond, and organizing many dances and other activities. continuing the Student Exchange Program, 38 76 rsofjifz ,MN 'F' ev X 6 PARTRIDGE STAFF Front row, left to right: Frank Nddd, Lay-out Editor.
