1 l Wardroom F6675 4.1-1 LCDR J. R .I FARRELL USN Executive Officer LCDR john R. FARRELL reported to the DUX- . BURY BAY in October, 1963 . He was originally assigned as the shipls Navigator . In April, 1964, he relieved CAPT LYONS as Executive Officer when the Captain moved up to take command of the ship. LCDR FARRELL came to the DUXBURY BAY from Patrol Squadron Two at Whidbey Island, Washington, where he was engaged in subma- rine reconnaissance flights . LCDR FARRELL, a Naval Academy graduate, is married to the former Miss Gloria Maxwell' of Kansas City, Missouri.
