IN MEMORIAM Nancy Carvalho, a member of the class of 1967 at B. M. C. Durfee High School, died in a tragic automobile accident in Newport, Rhode Island, on April 25, 1967. Nancy was Co-Captain of the Pep Squad during her junior and senior years. As a senior, she was a member of the Business Club and served as an office aide. A loss such as this is incapable of being measured in words. Nancy’s memory will linger on, however, in the minds of all who knew her, because she reflected the ideals of a true Durfeeite. MISS HELEN J. TRIPP Miss Helen J. Tripp, French instructor at Durfee for the past nine years, passed away on Friday, March 24, 1967, after a short illness. Miss Tripp formerly taught at Westport High School and from 1959 to 1963 was the librarian at the Westport Free Public Library. The students of Durfee join with the faculty in offering their sympathy to the family of Miss Tripp. Miss Tripp gave unselfishly of herself during her years at Durfee, Certainly such dedication will be long remembered by all.
