Members of the senior class campaign to earn money for their trip to Chicago. Melinda and Will are drawn together by their problems. Hers by scandal and his by insecurity and sensitivity. Fate Wills that the lovers must be separated, but Melinda and Will have gained the cour- age to endure separation.
