The trip was sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Founda- tion and was granted to 102 young people in the United States. Judy was chosen to represent Iowa on the basis of a test that she took and an essay that she submitted. While at the Capitol, Judy Was given a flag of the United States. This flag, which once flew over the U.S. Capitol, now flies over our school.
