Not pictured: Rosemary Brass, Oregon, third runner-up. .-M: fp! . . ,ASX lv Qi The 28th annual Durand Holiday Tourney was held December 26, 27, and 28. Chris Palmer was selected as Holiday Hostess. Byron, Dakota, Pec, Rockford Lu- theran, South Beloit, Le-Win and Oregon joined Durand in the event. Dakota placed first by defeating South Be- loit, 62-46. Third place went to our Durand Bulldogs, who beat the Byron team, 62-59. The consolation championship was captured by Lutheran, with a score of 65-61 over Le-Win. After the final game of the tourney, the All-Tournament team was selected. A Durand se- nior, Bill Damon, was named to this team. The dance, with music provided by WFRL, was held in the small gym following the championship game. 68
