Duke ll l Susan Muto N9 ,544- V ixdlm ,,, 4 High on the third floor of the Administration building is the site of the Duke office, where a team of young jour- nalists under the advisorship of Louis Corsetti, publish a weekly newspaper that was adjudged one of the six best college newspapers in the United States in its category by the Associated Collegiate Press. After a successful year's editorship behind her, Susan Muto handed over the deadline schedule to sophomore columnist Lawrence VValsh. VValsh and crew changed the Duke from a five to six column newspaper, and gave the university two Dukes a week the last weeks of the semester. Mary Ann Healey

G. l 1 i sl Hay lbiralmu It is essentially a misnomer to refer to the Duquesne magazine as an organization. It has none. Rather, it is a group of poets, writers, artists, car- toonists and coolies who, when the spirit moves them, gather under the sign of Claude Q. Slipshocl and put together a magazine three, or perhaps four, times a year. While the staff actually has an official office, they dare anyone to find it. Unofficially, it is Albertis back room, the Wall, or wherever the editors happened to be. This year the quack efforts of the magazine to present the real Duquesne to the students touched off a War with the Dukes Walsh and Companyl' -a formidable crew.
