The sisters of Tau Delta Tau Sorority together with Sigma Chi Theta Fraternity presented Go Live In a Tree during this fall's Carnival and Won the third place trophy. Tau Delt Winnie Kurtz received the Best Actress trophy for her portrayal of a woman who rebelled against the traditions and practices of the town but soon had everyone up in the tree with her. Mixers, rush parties, date parties and other activities crowded the sorority's social calendar, and as a charity project, they chose to help the children on a Navajo Indian Reservation. Participating in the annual Greek Sing competition, the Tau Delts sang Surrey with the Fringe on Top and Elijah Rock under the direction of Marge Skakell. Their sweetheart this year was Ray Kotrozo.
