PROPHECY When we learned that two of the Senior boys, Joseph Cebula, and Joseph Timinski, had invented a time machine, we decided to ask them if we could use it to look into the future of each member of the Senior Class of '56. They consented and immediately began to set the intricate dials to the year 1966. This is what we saw: The first city that came into focus was New York City. Here we saw Frank Kristula and his band rehearsing for a coast to coast television show. Martha Boyanowski, Mary Pearage, and Lenore Kotula, were also rehearsing. They are the stars of the The Comedy Hour. Their advertising manager is Bernice Kotula. The next building we saw was the nation's leading university. Strolling about the campus were Irene Larnard, Dolores Tibbett, and Dorothy Bednash, leading professors in their respective fields. A top medical institution was located not far away. We were just in time to see Gloria Pesta, a famous medical scientist, discover a cure for the common cold. We heard a speech given by Loretta Polerecki, head of surgical nurses. Glancing at the faces of the nurses who were listening intently, we saw Phyllis Kundla, Roberta Nesgoda, and Helen Fliss. The next city that came into view was Las Vegas. Here we saw a fabulous club, owned and operated by Charles Pannunzio. One of his employees was Joseph Skrzysowski, a famous chef whose speciality is spaghetti. Entertainment was provided by Arlene Minegar and Tina Adams, who gave their renditions of the opera, Carmen, Next we saw Miami Beach and we were just in time to see a fashion show. The pretty models were Mary Ann Kuna, Jean Zielinski, Ann Marie Rydzy, and Connie Kudey. All fashions were designed by Elaine Porzucek. Washington, D.C., was next to come into view. Barbara Malinics is secretary to Robert Justick, a well-known politician. Most of the buildings in Washington were de- signed by Thomas Hanezyc, the nation's top architect. Last, but not least, our home came into view. Jenny Harashinsky has just become a millionaire, she owns a chain of Dude Ranches. Lottie Tomaszewski is her head book- keeper. Among the successful housewives are: Kay Plisko, Linda Lolli, and Mary Ann Prebish. Judy Koss was doing a fine job as kindergarten teacher. Now, back in the year 1956, we look forward to the future with a feeling that every Senior of Dupont High School will be successful in any field that he undertakes. x ,L J, B Virginia Zielinski, 1956 41: if Dolores Tibbett, 1956
