Opening his second year as head football coach, Joe Andrew directed the Dragon charges against Forrest on Sept. 14. Although the Dragons lost, they were high- ly praised for their powerful play, and came back the next week to topple Bishop Kenny. Offense seemed to play a major part during the middle of the season as Landon and Bolles were trounced in rapid- fire succession, but in the last four games, duPont settled down to hard defensive playing. The Dragons ended the season statistically with three victories, but their strength was shown by the placing of five players on All-City mention. COACHES: First row: Mr. Bushore, Head Coach Joe Andrew, Mr. Cavari. Second row: Mr. Sharp, Mr. Davis, Mr Pifkels, Mr. Reynolds.
