Parents, teachers, and students participated in this insti- tute and gained a much better understanding of themselves and of one another. This program, as well as the other four programs of the year, was directed toward promot- ing the welfare of our youth in the home, school, church, and com- munity. Under the capable leadership of Miss Margaret Roberts and Miss Carole Hilton, and with the help of the Library Council, our work in the library has been made easier. Student assistants take charge of the circulation desk, cheek stu- dents in and out of the library, cheek new magazines and newspapers and help process new books. GIRLS ATHLETIC ASSOCI TIO The Girls Athletic Association is a Working or- ganization along with their participation in various sports. The organization has put uniforms on the basketball team, swimming team. The money was made by various projects such as bake sales, duPont seal sales, sponsoring a faculty basketball game, etc. These girls have a wonderful experience-learning how to face the public, gaining responsibility, self- confidence and other qualities which are necessary for a well rounded life.
