Diversified Cooperative Training at du- Pont provides the necessary link between education and employment for those stu- dents desiring to obtain both simultane- ously. Besides the required courses which the student must take, the D.C.T. program offers courses which are invaluable to stu- dents in business. The advantage of the D.C.T. program are many. To the student, it gives a chance to develop desirable abilities and Work habits, and it smooths the changeover from school to industry. For the school, D.C.T. fulfills the need and desire to meet the standards of the community in helping the student. Through this program, also, the school is more able to encourage students to remain in school until their graduation. The employer too, receives the benefits of D.C.T. By participating in this plan, he is given an additional opportunity to con- tribute toward the betterment of the com- munity which he already serves. The class grows larger each year. DI ER IFIED CUOPER TIVE TR INING SU To round out its activities, the D.C.T. plan includes participation in the district D.C.T. meeting, representation to the state convention, and its services to the school in- clude selling class rings and Senior An- nouncements. .Q . ff' . .fm aaygz I.
