The atmosphere set by the yearly banquet is so realistic that one cannot help but feel he is in ancient Rome. That's how the Frencl Club began the year. The purpose of the barbecue held at Maureen Miller's house, was to install the new officers. This was just the beginning of the club's mos eventful and fun-filled year. All students who take French are eligible to be mem bers of Le Circle Francais of duPont. The purpose 0 the French Club is to better acquaint French student with the culture of France. General club meeting emphasize programs based on French. At the regula cabinet meetings of the officers, service projects ant social events are planned for the entire club. The club was very active in all school activities. I1 the Halloween Carnival, its elaborate booth was 1 sidewalk cafe complete with can-can dancers.
