Members of the junior High Student Council began their activities this year with a cake booth at the annual carnival. Further service to the school included the Christmas Dance for the junior high grades. The purpose of the junior High Student Council is to prepare its members through active service for the coming work and duties of the Senior High Student Council. This group meets periodically to organize and discuss the activities of the Junior High Grades. Me? . . . a teacher! Although all students in the Future Teachers of America Club do not become teachers, the club fosters an interest in teaching as a career and provides infor- mation about other areas con- nected With teaching. This club is affiliated with both state and national F.T.A. Clubs.
