DELTA HI-Y Under President Pat Nolan Delta Hl-Y spent a busy year engaged in service projects and social events. Delta spon- sored a car wash early in the fall to finance its service projects. As the main service project Delta presented a fifty-dollar check to the Duval County Medical Center. A new football pennant was presented to the school at a special assembly. Delta finished the year with several other service projects and several socials, among them a hay ride and a beach party. The oflicers attended a training period at Camp Im- mokalee, at which they learned much about the YMCA youth program. Alpha members began the year by selling slogan ribbons and pennants for football games. At the Halloween Carnival, the club ran a car wreck booth. A large sum of money was donated by the club to help pay for a house destroyed by fire. The club issued student directories to help finance their annual Shipwreck Dance. The club threw several parties for its members and participated in football games with Delta and Gamma.
