STUDE T CGUNCIL f'YVe, the members of the Alfred I. duPont l962-l963 Student Council, resolve to fulfill the obligation of our offices, to honor the trust of our fellow classmates by representing them well in all matters. WVe promise always to promote the general welfare of the student body, and never cause my school disappointment or shame through my actions. This year's Student Council is particularly proud to have been instrumental in hosting the first foreign exchange student for southern Georgia and northeast Florida. Serving as chairman on the Duval County Student Council Commit- tee for the juvenile Shelter drive, all member schools were assigned months in which to gather much needed articles. The Mr. duPont Contest, a Twerp Dance, and the Halloween Carni- val were the main fund raising functions. As it has been the custom in past years, delegates were sent to this years Southeastern, State, and District Student Council Conventions. OFFICERS: Ann Hlimpee, Treasurer, Nancy Covington, Secretary, Janet Tyrrell, Vice-President, Buddy Mor- ton, President. - K s- 'F ' si l ' - I X A 1 1
