WINS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP The duPont cagers, composed of six juniors and six seniors, had a victorious season with sixteen wins and nine losses. ln addition to our four returning lettermen, duPont was fortunate in getting Frank Adams and 6, 4U Spence Stewart. who trans- ferred to duPont for their senior year. After the Dragons had defeated Bolles. Parker and Paxon in the first three games of the season. it looked as though they might reach the Christmas holidays undefeated. However. though they com- manded the Lee game until the beginning of the last quarter, superior height hegan to tell and they were handed a close defeat. Following the holidays. the team dropped into a momentary slump. losing to Kenny, Fletcher, and Landon. hut soon they were blazing the courts again. They defeated Bolles and Parker. The Seahreeze game. played in Daytona, was quite a disappointment. as the Dragons led the state champions for almost a quarter.
