Santa ,Clause made his appearance While everyone was enjoying fruit cake and punch. After telling a few stories and reading some of our letters to him, Santa presented the Cliirstmas Court. The court, composed ol twelve senior girls anrl lioys, was elected by the Senior Girls, Club, who sponsored this affair. From this court. the Senior Class se- lected the King anfl Queen. Chorus entering gym CHRISTMAS PAGEA T TENTH ANNUAL PERFORMANCE Each year duPont students look forward with great anticipation to the annual Christmas pageant. presented jointly hy the Chorus and speech departments, and the junior High Orchestra. lVlrs. Adelaide Anderson, Mr. John Madigan, and lVlr. Neal O7Neal, leaders of each respective department, worked many hours planning for the program. The 1958 pageant was the tenth annual presentation. This year the chorus was aided in its musical presenta- tion hy the ,lunior High flute, choir, orchestra and chorus. The readers, Bill Jennings and Jeanette Carter, told the story of the Nativity as the chorus chanted while fellow students portrayed Biblical characters in tahleaux. Carol Havener sang a solo of the HLord,s Prayer. i'We Three Kingsn was presented by John Van Duyn, Tim Adams, and Jerry Morgan.
