They got early experience in several different vocations. The girls became chefs and dish- washers at the Spaghetti Supper. glamorous fashion models at the Fashion Show-Game Party Where such novelties were given away as a jar of peanut butter and a bag of grits to some lucky ticket holder. To support their team at Ketterlinus they also chartered a bus. The annual Christmas Dance proved to be a huge success. and the girls felt that their efforts were well rewarded. They climaxed their year of activity with a luncheon held at the Green Turtle Restaurant. F TURE TEACHERS GAIN PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE The Future Teachers, Club is designed to give those students who think they would like to be teachers an insight and clear understanding of the Held. The mem- bers are given opportunities: to teach an occasional class, to have many opportunities in public speaking, to compete for teaching scholarships, and to attend the many socials throughout the city. The Future Teachers, Club is comparatively new at duPont and is just getting into the nswingv of things. Zz'-W-P PROMOTES FUN AND FELLOWSHIP We're going to have the best booth in the carnivalli, was the cry of Senior Fellowis President, Bill Jennings, as preparations for the booth began. This burlesque show featured: Bob Dynamite Hoover, Boney Rand Jennings, J. D. O'Brien as Mlrish Eyesf, Baldy Randi, Chambliss. Spence Stewart as Slinky Rand and Slinky Smokey Rhodes. If merit is to be meas- ured in dividends, then they certainly succeeded in having the best entertainment. After the Terry Parker game the club also sponsored a Victory Dance which lightened the letdown. When their sponsor, Coach Al Bassett, left duP0nt the boys presented him with a desk set. Coach Felton Luck was asked to sponsor them for the remainder of the year.
