Many interesting programs were presented at their meetings. Among the speakers were repre- sentatives from Alcoholics Anonymous and the Telephone Company. After the Dragons had defeated Bolles. Parker and Paxon in the first three games of the season. it looked as though they might reach the Christmas holidays undefeated. However. though they com- manded the Lee game until the beginning of the last quarter, superior height hegan to tell and they were handed a close defeat. Following the holidays. the team dropped into a momentary slump. losing to Kenny, Fletcher, and Landon. hut soon they were blazing the courts again. They defeated Bolles and Parker. We won the tournament in Fernandina, defeating Fernandina, Englewood, Parker. and Kenny and were presented with the District Cham- pionship trophy.
