Representative Charles Bennett, speaker at the 1956 President Hugo Churchill gives the welcoming induction, being welcomed by Mr. Sam I. Smith, address. principal, and Mrs. Anita M. Board, sponsor of the duPont chapter. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY No, 3x times x is 3313, not -lx! This was the familiar cry heard from the Guidance Room as the members of the National Honor Society helped students who were behind in their studies. One of the projects for this year, coaching students needing help, seemed to be a success, as evidenced by the large attendance during the homeroom period, The highpoint of the year, though, was the induction, following u barber-no at the home of Mr. Sam l. Smith, principal. Tutoring must create big appetites, for no barbecued chicken was wasted! Senior high students witness the induction of sixteen members to N. H. S.
