Dear Amelia (Mrs. Earhart), This is our final notice: as of this letter we are all resigning from the 1979 El Tigre staff. We must admit it was quite an experience working with you: the effects were mental exhaustion, terminal cases of mushy brains, and many sets of slightly deafened ears (to avoid hearing your sweet voice chastising us). We wanted you to think we knocked ourselves out to produce a tremendous yearbook, but actually we just wanted to see the pictures before anyone else. Yes. Amelia, the truth comes out and now that the end is here, we leave you (some permanently, some until only next year) to ponder our great wisdom and courage in becoming avid members of the yearbook staff.
