WHAT’S THE STORY JACK? THE STORY IS The thrill of Victory, The stink of de-feet and de-pits! So that's why the crowd is groaning and roaring. Entertainment was supplied by those wonderful kids in the marching band with their spit shined spuds and the multi-talented majorettes twirling their little fingers off. The half time show ended with a back fire from the six vettes and the Queen Candidates putted by the crowd at a reviving 80 m.p.h.

After the upsetting loss to Principia, every game was a do or die situation. The tension built until the last game of the season. A loss would mean 6-2 season, a win would mean State Play-offs. The Tigers held on to defeat a tough Assumption team. Many fans went to Carlinville to support the Tigers. The Tigers lost to a very strong Carlinville team in the last ten minutes. Carlinville went on to lose in the State Championship game to Stockton. CONGRATULATIONS on a very impressive season!
