It began with a winning football team that not only scored high in area statistics, but tied the old school record of an 8-2 season. Student Council again took the responsibility for sponsoring Homecoming, which was a big success and worked hard throughout the year initiating new ideas to improve the school. As basketball season drew near, Tiger fans looked forward to a good season under a new head coach. The importance of a right solution to a problem was realized, and the guidance office became a friendly place to go. As the year progressed, new faces became old friends and the school as a whole worked together to make this a year to always be remembered. fifffa?-IFS? 1 2- ADMINISTRATION .TP I fig? They are taught skills required for occupations in areas such as child care, health, and interior decorating. It also helps the students to prepare for home management and the problems that they will encounter in that area. DCHS students are given a number of ways in which to spend their spare time. The study hall offers the students a chance to watch films, play chess or study if they wish. The library offers students the use of reference books and other materials needed for class proiects. They can also listen to tapes or read magazines. Social Siudies. Sciences. and Maih Mr. Dennett Above: shows c globe to his geography class.
