NATURE STUDY The members of this club, under the leadership and guidance of Mrs. Hoepfinger, prepare projects for the science fairs held annually in this vicinity. Many different and interest- ing arts are taught including liquid plastic-work, preservation of animals, taxidermy, and a very complete study of biology. PHOTO CLVB S Students inter- ested in photogra- phy join this club. Under the supervi- sion of Mr. Parkhill, the members of Photo Club learn to develop and print their own pictures in the schools vvell- ecyuipped darkroom. They also learn to use many types of cameras. 'il SCIENCE CLUB Under the supervision of Mr. Maas, the members of the Science Club learn about the wonders of chemical science. They also have a chance to perform experiments and learn how to use the different pieces of laboratory appar- atus.

l l JUNIOR-SENIOR G.A.A. Girls in G.A.A. may earn letters or awards if they meet the necessary re- quirements. Both G.A.A, groups par- ticipate in several outside activities during the year. They attend two play- days, one in the fall, and one in the spring, and sponsor the annual G.A.A. Dance in January. The Junior-Senior officers are: President, Sandy Ed- wards, Vice President, Rotha Dixon, Secretary, Joanne Schaffnerg Treas- urer, Loretta Henderson. FRESHMAN-SOPHOMORE G.A.A. The Girls' Athletic Association is open to all girls interested in athletics. Its purpose is to stimulate an interest in sports and to develop good sports- manship. There are two seperate divi- sions of the G.A.A. Both are spon- sored by Miss Still. The Freshman- Sophomore G.A.A. officers are as fol- lows: President, Karen Barrettg Vice President, Susan Wolf, Secretary, Janice Biellerg Treasurer, Jayne Valine. LILADTRS C LUB Cirls belonging to this organization are chosen because they display qualities of leadership, per- sonality, and physi- cal skill. These girls must also be capable of assuming respon- sibility and must have the ability to get along with others. The leaders assist Miss Still in gym classes.

ADVANCED RIZADITRS' CILVB Students join this club because they like to read. They learn to under, stand enjoy, and appreciate good literature. Mr, Painter, sponsor of the club, shows the students many interest- ing films. LIBRARY Though this activity students learn from Mrs. Daugherty the funda- mentals of library work. Students also learn the value of the library as a place in which they can find reference materials for their school work. FRESHMAN READFRS CLUB This club, led by Mr. Printer is l wr the purpose of encouraging reading outside of class. The members learn the proper use of the library and learn how to develop good reading habits.
