O I THE STORY Fate sends George Rushton. a wealthy American manu- facturer of Rushton's Famous Electric Pills, to Porto del Oro just in time to participate in the preparation for the Fiesta de los Toros. lVIr. Rushton, whose roving eye sees much to admire in the Spanish beauties. finds his llirta- tious spirit dampened by the insistent attentions of Her- mosa, a matron of generous proportions, who sees in the wealthy manufacturer a Heaven-sent opportunity to rc- coup her fortunes. His niece. Dorothy, while spurning the attentions of the Spanish Grandee. falls in love with Robert Car' son, local representative of the Imperial Fruit Company charged with the task of finding a lost banana plantation. The Spanish Grandee. intent on ridding himself of a rival, so guides aliairs that Robert is chosen by lor to fight El Diablo, the fiercest bull in all Porto del Oro. lt is a revolution. hatched by the insurgent General l de liozo, that offers Robert his chance for freedom.
