Ban The Band provides an opportunity for students to learn something about music. The majorettes, also band members, add color and variety to many of the band’s functions. The pep band performs at the basket- ball games. Its first appearance was an assembly program at the high school using popular music. These: selections included “More,” “The Calypso Song,” and “Madame Jeannette.” Performing along with the bands, the Chorus presented several carols at the annual Christmas concert.
