74145044 We as Freshmen were starttng somethrng new berng rn the hrgh school for the frrst trme Mr Devme warned us of the trrps to Room 13 however some of us attempted to go The present Senror Class was separated rnto two parts be cause of lack of accomodatron Although we were separated durxng most of the year we jorned together to have our Freshman Hop our frrst dance At the start of our Sophomore year we were jorned by the other half of our Class and so we made many new frrends Our Sophomore year was comparatrvely uneventful except for our wrnnrng the rntramural basketball champronshtp and the holdrng of our Valentme Dance and Sophomore Frolrc The followrng fall we began our Junror year rn whrch some of our classmates were mducted rnto the Natronal Honor Socrety The next event was our Halloween Dance whrch helped a great deal wrth the expenses for our Junror Prom whrch was held at the Elk s Club tn May ln sprte of all the happy events we were saddened by the death of our prrncrpal Mr Devrne Our Sentor Year found us wrth a new prtncrpal Mr Bradrcan and lookrng forward to our responsrbrlrtres as Sen tors We had to decrde our future for slowly graduatron was comrng upon us Chrrstmas came and so drd the Chrrstmas Formal whrch we sponsored Name cards prctures and class rrngs began to appear around the school Many com mrttees were busy workmg on the frnal preparatron of the Yearbook We looked forward to our Senror Class Nrght held at All Sarnts Hall on May 28th and our Drnner Dance whrch was held at the Hotel Casey tn Scranton Commencement the brg event frnally came and ended the four years of our educatron at dear old Dunmore Hrgh As we took our places on the platform we heard the frnal speeches that would prepare us rn our future lrves Under the banner of Servrce we wrll always remam dedrcated to Dunmore Hrgh School tts faculty and tts students 8 I 1 1 1 1 1 - 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 , , , . 1 1 f 1 1 n 1 - 1 - 1 1 - 1 1 . - 1 1 1 1 . 1 1 1 1 -
