THE REFLECTOR DUNLAP HIGH SCHOOL In the year 1929, Dunlap High School was built at Hematite, Virginia. The land for this building was bought from Mr. Hahn. Since that date many additions have .been added, including a shop, a cafeteria and a few additional class rooms. The first graduating class was in 1930 consisting of seven members. Since then 204 students have graduated from this school; 136 girls and 68 boys. The enrollment this year, 1947-48 is 361 which marks a considerable increase since 1930. The school is still growing and has a bright future for those eager students who are willing to work and accept it. Dunlap will definitely find a place in the history of tomorrow. 5
