LATIN CLUB The Latin Club is an organized body of students who have, or are, taking Latin. The organization is under the sponsorship of Mr. Lonteen, as it has been for the past two years. This years' activities have consisted of: a get-together party Qfor the purpose of getting acquainted with the new membersj, a Homecoming float Qwhich won third prize Q, a dance, a Christmas Party, the annual Roman Banquet and a Slave Day. The Slave Day was a new activity for the club and it proved to be a very worth-while and successful activity. The success of the Latin Club this year has been due to the excellent executive board, our capable Sponsor, and eager participation of the members. 40
