CLASS PROPHECY My name is Miss Information You can never guess in a million years where I work so I guess I'd better tell you for I don't have that much time I work in the Post Office really enyoy days lxke we have had today I just love to read post cards Today we got twenty four of them Two of them came from Denver Colorado One from Barbara right and one from Jo Ann Prior They seem to be having a pretty good time out there They have an apartment but it can't be very lonely because Barb and Jo can always find somethlng to do with themselves It also seems that Barbara Dougal is mighty busy with her nurses training She said she barely had enough time to drop her folks a line I hope she has a lot of success in her training It seems as if Jo Anne Rogers is climbing the stairs to success playing her saxophone for the Hormel All Girl Orchestra She said that they were playing on the CBS Network next week and she wanted her folks to pass the word around town so that everyone would have a chance to see her on television There was one that came in from Hollywood California You can never guess in a million years who it was from Yes it was from Bob Caldwell He told his folks that he was He said the girls are all after h1m for his autograph but he just pushes them aside and pays no attention to them at all It was hard reading this card because it was written in shorthand but I finally gut lt figured out It was from Jannes Hansen She has a secretarial job in Omaha She told her mother that she can take shorthand at 200 words a minute She also said that she was getting a raise in salary and she plans to save it for the future Here are two that must really be having a lot of fun They are Harold McCord and Don Ambrose They are out in Pinedale Wyoming punching cattle and having themselves a good time I wonder how they look now and if they are very bow legged and if they are able to sit down after riding those horses all day But by the sounds of their cards they are doing all rlght for themselves Oh here is a real good one' Janice Schaefer iswritinga card to Jack Peterson I hadn t better say too much about that one except Janice is very lonely down in Omaha She said that the weeks are really long I'll bet Jackkeeps busy with the farm work and doesn't pay much attention to the t1me Here's one that is going out of town Ed Black is sending one to Omaha He said he was really busy with the farm work He d1dn't have much more news ROGERS LUMBER CO The Buildmg Supply Store .
