5 Cooks and Cafeteria Helpers Mrs. Fishback, dietitian, plans for over IOO students every day. She is ably assisted by Mrs. Dickson and Mrs. Bantz. A few students also assist in the kitchen and are rewarded with free lunches. Custodians 'V Mr. Besser and Mr. Bonner keep our school warm and clean throughout the year. Dave Baldwin crops a picture while Barb Stine- man files completed pages in a mailing envelope. K Silicon Staff at Work In late July the basic plans for the Silicon were laid at Indiana University 'S Journalism Institute. The actual work began shortly after the start of the first school term. Staff positions were es- tablished, and within a few months all adver- tisement donations were collected. Certain changes in the Silicon made for a better year- book. Among these were the use of magazine paper and justified type. The staff worked hard throughout the year, com- pleting the Silicon during their spare time. Lori Watson and Bob lrelan have the tedious job of indexing everyone in the entire yearbook.
