Queen Kathy reigns over the homecoming activities The week of September 27 through October 1 was designated to honor the football players. Each day a special theme was carried out to add variety to the week. Monday everybody was asked to wear their clothes inside out and make a sign. Tuesday they were to dress up like the 50's. Wednesday everybody looked sharp dressed in their Sunday best. Thursday, to be patriotic to our school, the student body wore red and black. On Thursday afternoon, a program and pep meeting was held. Don Stone welcomed everyone. Then John Hoffman gave a rousing pep talk to psyche up the football players. The big moment came; Kathy Fettkether was crowned by former homecoming queen Lois Canfield. Kathy was voted queen earlier that week by the student body. After this, there was a parade and another arousing pep meeting down on the main drag. 1 22
