All students have a cumulative shop card which shows credit of 1 point for eacfc i hour of honest effort. During the 4 years of high school the student should develop skill in at least 75 of the above mentioned skills. This allows some variation according to individual interest. We have one of the finest sets of tools and equipment to be found in any high school. Some of the larger pieces of equipment include two electric welders (A.C. and D.C.), valve refacer and reseater, two grinders up to 1 horsepower, drill press, metal turning lathe, chain hoist, piston aligner, valve spring compression tester, tap and die sets, drill sets, socket sets, armature grawler, etc. It is hoped that the farmers of tomorrow will appreciate and know possibilities available to further there progress. I4MIM IIN I IITCIIEN The activities of the 1946 hot lunch program are portrayed in the pictures shown on this page. After having served 14,715 lunches in 72 days It would seem that the project was very worthwhile. It was only with the cooperation of Mrs. Hayes, Mrs. Rudolph and sixteen sophomore girls that this program was successfully completed. The menu for each day was carefully planned with the health of the children in mind. Various nutritious foods were served with a minimum of time spent in tne dining-room by the diners as well as the waitresses. DINING ICCM All out—end of line. Office Detention. Always eating.
