Romano Kunz of Yaduz, Switzerland, and Muhammadu Lillian of Bida, Nigeria, arrived February 22, 1956 for a period of two weeks. Mr. Romano Kunz was the guest of Dallas Folk, Tenth Street, New Market and Mr. Muhammadu Liman stayed with Bruce Bartholomew, :QE6 Church Street, Dunellen. Both Dallas and Bruce are members of the Class of 19567 Mr. Romano Kunz, 18, is in his last year of high school and plans to go to college to study law and later pursue a diplomatic career. R0mano's father was the head of several well-known butcher shops and factories in Switzerland, but is now retired. llomanois inclinations and interests soon demonstrated that his ability was less suited for taking over his father's profession than for studying. Romano has visited many European countries and speaks six dif- ferent languages. His main interests are the piano and furthering his education. fs, . 41 X' . -4 Consulting with the advisor. .- ' :z Hes! Wishes for NSG UESTS Comparing Notes Mr. Muhammadu Liman is the eldest of a large family. His type of home is quite different from ours. It is similar to a one story apartment building in which all of the relatives live together. Muhammadu, or Hllikei' as everyone called him, finished his high school education before he came to the United States and hopes to go to Columbia University to become a veterinarian. Mike, during his school vacations, helps his father who is a tailor. He is interested in sports, and has participated in soccer, hockey and ping pong at his own school. The two boys were brought to D.H.S. as a Student Council project. The committee that supervised their coming and activitie's consisted of Miss H. Moore, fZlCllllf advisor, Gladys Suba, Robert Shepley, Maureen Tulak, Dallas Folk, Bruce Bartholomew, Ruth Hamshar, Fred Henry, and Walt Krzensiewski. The two boys were shown many of Dunellen's activities such as basketball games, dances, parties and assemblies. They were introduced to the faculty by a tea given by the host mothers. ff International Friends ll's a small world si N. The mad chemast Cline omenfa lil... Tis g,.s. Ill I 1 ,M - i L 'C P a fx 3 .
