JUNIOR CLA98 TALENT 8H0W A CRAZED EVENT Tuxed emcees, namely Junior Class officers Brinn Hel- ton, Nikki Lee, Susan Hill, Kris Whipple and Ginny Tasker presented A Wild and Crazy Show in the DHS audito- rium February 3rd. The talent, which ranged from song and dance to commercial and movie imitations, was div- erse, entertaining and very well received by the audience. The judging panel of students and teachers evaluated each act and singled out a performer or group outstand- ing in each category. The divisions and their winners were as follows: Beth Blackweler and Karen Wolstein, Best Dance, Hal Roland and Cherie Albury, Best Male and Female Vocalists, Sextette Plus One, Best Comedy. Dave Phillips, Best Musical Presentation, and Hal Roland, Best of Show. Money from the full capacity attendance went to the Junior Class, making it a more profitable than crazy show. 1 ) Mike Smith shows real talent, he sings and chews his tobacco at the same time 2) Chene Atbury sings her heart out 3) Kent Mason alias Lawrence Welk 4) Sextette Plus One equals strange but true 5) Hal Roland wins Best of Show lor male vocalist 6) Ruth Gordi shows great talent singing Caroline on My Mind 7) Our Bologna Boy has a first name, it ' s M-l-K-E 8) The live Wild and Crazy Junior Class otticers. 325
