Cyndi Gabnele wants to marry Jimmy Stevens Thiey plan to get an apartment in Clearwater, and save to buy a tiouse Renee Rizzi is going to New York to check out the scene, then to California In California, she plans to enroll in the Univer- sity of California and major in fashion mer- chandising She says she will definitely wait for quite a while to get married Kathie Speed wants to make a career out of her artistic abilities and get into com- mercial art. Debbie Trulock says she might go into nursing. She will probably go to St. Pete J.C. Billy White, a junior, says he plans to become a physician. He wants to special- ize after he becomes a general practi- tioner fvlike Skicewicz wants to be an engineer, and hopes to get into the NASA program Brad Vaughn states that he will tour the Northeastern states by hitch hiking. Although the possibilities seem endless, we must all work toward a goal We must never give up and be simply content with what we have. The real world needs help that only those with dreams can give. What ' s It Like Out There? What s It like in the real world ' ' What am I going to do ' ' Where will I go ' ' Who will I meef Those are good questions accord- ing to a lot ol luniors and seniors here at Dunedin High School Wondering what ' s ahead is all a part of the game We sit in awe as we consider the possibilities for a career or marriage The pressure begins to build about midway through your |unior year, or even before, and continues until one day you know just what it is you want. It may be a gradual process, or it may hit you all at once, or maybe you won ' t decide at all until you are a |unior in college changing your major for the seventh time Whatever the case, someday you will know tor sure even if it ' s not this year or the next A select few at DM S., however, know what It IS they are going to invest their lives in Sandy Hammer, a senior, plans to attend St Pete J C, for three years to take the dental hygiene program, Sandy is pres- ently involved in EBCE and one of her job sites was with a dentist in Safety Harbor, This summer she plans to take it easy, then in the fall she will start back to the old grindstone I want a job where I can work my own hours 1 don ' t want to be married to my job, says Sandy She hopes to get married and have a family, but not yet, Charles Stopford, a junior, has his heart set on becoming a nuclear physicist He took the ASUAB and ranked m the top forty percent of national testing scores. In the past, he has won state competi- tions and highest honors in the field of physics with such projects as microwave, thermodynamics, radiation, and X-Ray, Charles plans on going into the Navy for Nuclear Reactor training, then enroll in Cavendish Laboratories in Cambridge, England, Charles is currently taking Trig,, Physics, and Data Processing Two here at Dunedin Debbie Trulock Cyndi Gabriele Charles Stopford, future Nuclear Physicist, studies for a physics test. 322
