SUPERlNTENDENT'S MESSAGE My congratulations to the Tiger Staff for a job well done in presenting the pictoral record of the school year 1952-53. A work of this nat- ure is a serious undertaking and assumes the de- finite responsibility for accurately recording the events of the year to reflect the pupils and their accomplishments and activities in the most favorable light. It has been the responsibility of the Tiger Staff to record here the events of the year. The making of these events has been the responsibility of the en- tire student body. The records and pictures shown here are your records and pictures. The records of events look good or bad according to the effort put forth and the attitude you showed in making those events. I sincerely hope that each of you are quite proud of your record for the school year 1952-53. It is an inescapable fact that most of the people you will come to know, either slightly or intimately, will judge you by the way you talk, by the way you act, and by the effort you put forth in whatever activity or work you may be engaged. This is a partial picture for the records of your accomplishments for one school year. I hope you will have many more years of successful school life and will extend that success into your life work after your school days are over. Sincerely, ' Earl C. Everett PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE You have completed now the course of study as prescribed by the great state of Oklahoma and your Dundee High School. To many of you, your formal education will terminate with the exercises held at the end of this term, to others, your gra- duation will be only another stepping stone on the road to education. Let me point out to each of you that, regardless of age or degree, your education is never quite complete. Education is a growing process and neither elementary nor high school, college nor post-college, can guarantee your abi- lity to become educated. This you slowly absorb by keeping an open mind capable of accepting the good and rejecting any and all theories which tend to break down your moral, mental, physical or relig- ious stature.
