This being the twentieth anniversary of our Alma Mater, we thought it only fitting that we should use an anniversary theme in our yearbook. We have striven to keep it a simple accurate record of the 1958-59 school year. The senior class, the largest in the history of D.C.S., necessitated the addition of eight pages to our publication. Through the addition of these pages, we have been able to increase the scope of the Highlander. As a member of the senior class and editor of the yearbook, I have had the pleasure of setting aside a portion of this yearbook as a memo- rial to our classmate and friend, Larry La Fever. The class of 1959 has dedicated this book to an individual who has helped maintain the school, given of his time and effort to the various classes and organi- zations, and has served as a faithful and devoted friend. Paul Bennett, Editor 2
