ACTI ITIE Activities. Yes, school couldn't go on without activities. The members of the Freshmen, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors make an active pa r. First, we will start out with the young and active Freshmen. Early this fall they started out with a hayride. The weather was a little rainy but they continued to have a good time. There are more Freshmen than previous years, so they are divided into three sections. Their advisors are Miss Herrington, Mr. Daulton, and Mr. Wallace. Next we will talk about the boisterous, but'sweet Sophomores. If you can hear a group of noisy students, it is the Sophomores having a class meeting. The hayride which has proven to be very popular in our school was also enjoyed by the Sophomores early this fall. They also have an assembly coming up soon. Mr. Host is their advisor. The iophomores have a good start and we hope they continue to be success- u . Now we will give special mention to our rivals nThe Juniorsn. We really have enjoyed having them as our rivals, Everyone else was having a hayride so why oouldn't the Juniors? From what we hear, they didn't have any trouble enjoying themselves. The Juniors have just received their rings which they are proudly flashing around. Mrs. Utter is their faculty advisor. One of their biggest projects was the selling of all occasion cards, which added to their bank account They also have inherited the School Supply Center frOm the Seniors and are doing very well. They have yet to present their Junior Play which will occur'in March and the annual Junior Prom in May. We hope they will be success -ful and also have fun in their activities. And lest but not least comes the faithful Seniors. What fun we have had in our four years of high school. Thus far this year we have sold magazines and have the candy sales project. The Seniors really got out and sold those magazines. They proved very successful. The Seniors started a new fad this year. The class all ordered white sweaters with the maroon emblem on them. Everyone wore them for the first time to an asembly and we received recognition. J The Senior Play 'Cheaper By the Dozenu went off very well. The cast all played their parts very well. John Cadwell and Janie Kleckler played the part of the father and mother. The boys and girls really were a howl in their short pants and skirts. Much thanks goes to Mrs. Utter for her most wonderful co-operation in directing our T3 9-yy we were very unfortunate in losing Mr. Kullman in our Junior year as our advisor. He had been our advisor since our Freshman year. Mr. Witter became our new advisor and continued to be our Senior advisor . The class of 51 wishes to thank Mr. Kullman and Mr. Witter for being such wonderful advisors. Much thanks goes to anyone else that has helped us in any way. The best of luck to our fellow class mates! Dorothy Styrcula .28
