H0 OR OCIETY At the beginning of the school year, the Dundee Chapter of the National Honor Society met to elect new officers. The holders of the offices for this year are as follows: Pres- ident, Virginia Dlugoshg Vice-President, Erma Alleng Secretary,Janet Grace, Treasurer,Joyce Gardner. The purpose of this society is to uphold scholarship, service, character, and leadership, so at the end of every six weeks, awards are given to the outstanding student in each of these fields. After the midyear exams, an held for the purpose of inviting ing into full membership, those fulfilled the requirements for accordance with the constitution assembly was and initiat- students who entrance in of the Honor Society. The new members are LaVerna Travis, Thomas Davis and Barbara Woodard. We hope that many more of our students will aspire to scholarly habits, active leadership, and wor- thy service, so that they too, will become members of the Dundee Chapter of the National Honor Society in the future. 25
