Areford, ' I, 'Since the Class of '49 entered the portals of higher education as the Junior Class they have taken an active interestlin sports-interclass and interscholastic- and money' making schemes for the purpose of financing their proposed Senior Trip. Shortly after the beginning of school last September, the sports program opened with soccer for both boys and girls- followed by a schedule of football, speedball, basket ball, volleyball, Newcombe, plngpong, badmenton, tennis and track. These sports are all interclass with the exception of girls' basketball, volleyball, and track which are inter- scholastic. Our Junior class boys took part in all four inter- scholastic sports with average efficiency. Our class movie, WNorthwest 0utpost', in February was followed by our class play, 'The Happier We'll Be', in April and our Junior Prom in June. These all contributed to our Senior Trip Fund. We all hope to be Seniors next year and become one of the outstanding classes in the school. We will continue raise money for our Senior trip. we wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Kullman, our class advisor, for his help and guidance-through the year. .5 1949
