Q5 M CLASS Pom Z CLASS OF 1946 QQ jing Our school days have come to an end And we've reached the parting of ways. We're wishing luck to each of you Until the end of your days. WVAZ2 ww Parents, friends, and teachers, To you we must express-- Thanks for laying before us The road to success. ZZQJ You have tried so very hard And taught us the best you could. In the future we will see That it was only for our good. As the years keep passing us by And we look back on life. We'll think of the good old school days Which then we thought were strife. Two roads are now before us And from them we must choose. The one that to success does lead. We want to win, not lose. Come on classmates, make your choice. One road is shining and briiht, The other is dark and downward leads. Let's choose the one that is rightl was By Eleanor Paddock QAM 3 XM SN . gif K N M WWW WW Q9 W NKDWQ Q2 Qgw WW fpbfew

i history my lhut 'wo homew or what a school ------- -- its Dundee Central! what a class --------- the Glass of e6 1 Yes, we Seniors are proud of our class and its accomplishments but rememoer kthis is advice for the lower classmeni that without twelve years of hard work we could not have attained this goal--graduation. host of us started school in l9'5'5. we all enioy recalling past events, solet's look back over those happy days together. Do you remember way back when most of us were going to the 'little red school house? 'Nhat a thrill our first year Kl9Z'J9H at D.G.S. was. Our class was first organized in l91iO when we were in the seventh grade. Orville Seyea was our first fresident and Mrs. Ylanhooft our class advisor. Barbara hall was our eighth grade President while hiss Lafler was our advisor. 'During these two years we made a little money with class dues and a great deal of fun learning to work as a class. During our four years in high school our motto has been to learn all we can, have all the fun we can, and to earn enough money for our Senior trip. We have gone far in accomplishing that aim. at least we have had our fun! our Freshman year was uneventful but during our Sophomore year we had two enjoyable parties. Our Christmas party was chaperoned by hrs. hart kour class, advisorl and hiss Lafler. That party may be remembered because of the dancing, or perhaps because of the grab bag we had, or was it because of the jolly games we played. we all remember our Sophomore picnics because of the Treasure Sox found and the mystery connected with it. lt seems Jean, Claudia, and 'feggy went exploring. They found twenty-f our boxes of zhocolatesl our Junior year was made lively with hiss hchane as advisor and John Deifmnn, ?resident. The Junior Prom was a grand success with music, eats, and festive decoration. Eleanor Campbell was crowned hay Queen. we sponsored two movies at the Dundee Theater. On open house night we, as Juniors, paraded on stage fashioning clothes of the later eighteenth centuries. ln June we held the Junior-Senior picnic at Watkins Glen. lt would be difficult for us to forget the howling good time we had, melted ice-cream, dripping hair, and drenched clothes helped to make this picnic the most unforgetful. The Seniors of AS gave a delightful banquet for us at the Jefferson hotel. V-Zishing them good-hye, we exchanged memorable gifts. The next week we worked hard decorating and preparing the auditoruim for their graduation. we have now gained our goal as Seniors and are looking forward to graduation and a Senior trip. we have had two bake sales. We served and prepared food, and did the dishes at the Banquet for the Re'oecca's. The Senior hall was held harch loth and was successful as for our Senior Trip! Only as you think of us all together out to have a grand time can you imagine the capers we out and the fun we have had. Jean Sistek Agnes Tayloi 15
